Russell Crowe As Supermans Dad - YES, PLZ

Being Human on @SyFy SUX. No MOAR Soap Opera CRAP!
As you can probably tell from the title of this post I am not a huge fan, well not even "a" fan of the Being Human show over at SyFy. I have never been a huge fan of these soap opera style science fiction shows, if I wanted daytime drama I would well, watch daytime drama.
I never got a chance to watch this show when it aired on BBC so I cant really judge the quality of this show compared to its predecessor. I can however judge the craptastic pile of vomit that it is on US TV.
I used to have a love affair with Vampires, not the silly, kiss on the neck romantic type of love affair. The kind that has to do with Vampires being freaky, superhuman and kicking ass! I wasnt ever a big fan of the black and white bat/human hybrid vampires, but I remember distinctly when I saw The Lost Boys and the rest was history. I believe for me the best Vampire/Werewolf crossover has been the Underworld series, and anything in that general vein and style. Shows like Being Human & Teen Wolf have officially turned supernatural lore into One Tree Hill with fangs, which isnt as cool as it may sound.
I blame the success of these boring shows on the hype of Twilight, yes Twilight. Teen angst meets fantasy to create films that help put me to sleep better than rain noises and 3 Tylenol PM's. Being Human adds a social aspect to try and create stories about the characters that are less about their troubles and more about their HUMAN side, which to me just spells out BORING.
Oh look, its 3 generically attractive people to appeal to most of the public's most superficial side in order for us to put out a show that can be cheaply made and covered up with emotional storylines hiding the lack of real supernatural lore. I cant bring myself to support this kind of crap, I have a huge list of TV shows and movies I feel the same way about and you can be certain you will hear more about from me on this blog!

Twitter Suspends Us After 2 Tweets????
So after creating this wonderful blog I signed up for a Twitter account. My first Tweet, saying hello. My second Tweet promoting this blog with a link to the Green Lantern Ryan Reynolds video. I go back to my Twitter account, they suspend me, possibly on the grounds of sharing porn. OK! I will admit, the Ryan Reynolds video got me hot and bothered, but no where in that video is peen or sex... Twitter you need to research your suspensions, I was part of your micro-blogging site less than 2 hours.. get a grip.

Looks like Hugh Jackman is back at it again, as Wolverine. He sat down with MTV and discussed how he understood that we would all like to see more violence *yes please* in the Wolverine films.
I have to admit, when I go back and watch the original X-Men Film I feel there is a bit..ahem.. well a LOT that was missing from that movie, coming from a fan of the comics. I realize that movies are a completely different beast than comics but at the core they are very much the same. So I say YES Hugh, more hack & slack!
